Global Trade: Assistance with Foreign Markets

 

• Export Washington: The International Trade Division of the State of Washington can provide help with exporting strategies in new markets, such as: determine the potential for your product in your target foreign market, research your competitors, discover distribution channels, connect you with overseas buyers, and guide you through risks and terms of payment options. • The Small Business Administration US Export Assistance Center offers consultations about developing financial and technical plans for exporting products abroad. Call 206-553-0051.

 

• Consultations with a trade attorney from the Federal Bar Association are also available through the SBA’s Export Legal Assistance Network (ELAN). 800-827-5722.

 

• Businesses negatively impacted by foreign competitors are eligible for help improving business practices through the Northwest Trade Adjustment Assistance Center. 206-622-2730.
