The next MIC Executive
meeting will be on April 29th . We will host new
City Councilmember Bruce Harrell, he will be interested to hear from MIC
members about City Light electric rates.

Every member of the MIC is always invited to these meetings. The MIC
gathers monthly at its Executive Committee meeting (usually) the fourth
Tuesday of each month at 3:30-5:30 pm in our office on 1st Ave S. This is
your opportunity to keep abreast of topics of concern to your industrial
business, to provide direction for the organization, and to determine how
or if you would like to get involved

Lower Duwamish River Habitat Restoration Plan
The Port of
Seattle is launching its Lower Duwamish River Habitat Restoration Plan,
aimed at creating a long-range framework for investments on Port property
that lies along the shoreline of the river. The intent of the Port's
public process will be to develop a master plan for the coexistence of
natural habitat and the commerce that relies on the waterway for
navigation. Public involvement will include all stakeholders ~ area
residents, businesses, community and environmental groups, Native American
tribes, and key public agencies. Join us to learn more and provide your
input! Project Open House and Presentation: Tuesday, April 29, 2008 5:30 –
7:00 pm (presentation at 6:15 pm) South Seattle Community College,

(mostly) and we're back to painting murals ... please stop by and see our
